Despite being a small country, Singapore’s dance scene is heckuva vibrant one. Whether you’re a young, aspiring dancer in need of some guidance or an international dancer looking for places to groove, here are five dance studios in Singapore you should definitely visit!
5) Legacy Dance Co.
Established in 2014, Legacy Dance Co. started from a dream by it’s founder Chan Jia Jun and close friends he made at his Polytechnic hip hop dance club. Although they currently only have one studio at the moment, the instructors do not hold back from teaching a wide variety of dance genres. From urban choreography to contemporary, you’ll surely find a class to suit your own dance style!
Our Tip: If you’re a huge fan of urban choreography, this might be the place for you! Many of the instructors teach urban dance here and we LOVE ‘em. You can get there via King Albert Park Station (via Downtown Line).

With three dance studio spaces under it’s belt, they can hold three classes of varying genres all at the same time! We don’t doubt why people love it here – the vibe and energy of the dancers can be felt even just from entering the reception area. Located in the heart of youth culture, O School is on the fourth floor of *SCAPE Singapore. This is regarded as the pioneer dance studio in Singapore, and hosts some of the biggest dance events such as the Super 24 Dance Competition (link it to the article). If you’re truly serious about dance, this would be the place for you. The school offers classes in three levels according to difficulty and complexity , with Level 1 being foundation classes to Level 3 being advanced. To book a class, you’ll have to purchase O School credits, with 1 credit = 1 class.
